The Little Lilypad is a lifestyle blog mostly written by a mum to two beautiful, cheeky and entertaining daughters. It is sometimes written by the Man on the Pad or by one of our baby bloggers. Occasionally we accept guest posts too. There is frequently talk of sustainable living, saving money, lifestyle and travel. It is hopefully helpful, sometimes funny and always honest.

Country Kids : Splashing Around

I love being outdoors with the children.

I love seeing them run through the woodlands and fields by where we live.

I love hearing them chasing squirrels and rabbits.

But .....

I don't love the rain.

On rainy days, I love nothing better than snuggling up on the sofa and watching a good movie or playing games .... inside! My eldest daughter is very much like me, however the little one has other ideas. She was so excited to see the rain today and couldn't wait to get her wellies on and get outside.

Then we had our own water works when she ran out of puddles to play in!!

  1. Those are cracking puddle splashing photos, you've managed to capture the water droplets mid-flight perfectly! Nipping over from Country Kids.

  3. I love the way children see the best in every situation - we want to keep out of the rain and they see it as an opportunity for great fun! Love the photos of the water play, thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.
